I purchased this knife on a whim as an overall utility knife for my kitchen. I prepare mostly quick meals involving vegetables and fruits. It promises to stay sharper longer which any good chef knows, the sharper, the better - especially with vegetables. The blade was and is extremely sharp. The handle is ergonomic. The knife is light and easy to use and handles very well. But why the 1 star? The tip to the point of the knife broke off one day in wash. I'd return it but I no longer have the receipt. The product didnt last more then 3 months! I have previously worked in a restaurant kitchen so I have proper knife handling skills. would suggest you stick with a nice stainless steel and ensure its sharpened regularly. (Posted on 2016-02-03)
