Contest Rules

These are the official rules & regulations to all existing Kitchen Stuff Plus contests.

Any customer surveys submitted that do not meet the criteria outlined above or are deemed inappropriate by Kitchen Stuff Plus will be disqualified from the contest.

Eligibility

The “Customer Experience Survey” giveaway is open to residents residing in Canada, other than the Province of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside and is governed by Canadian Law. Representatives, employees, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, affiliated and related companies of Kitchen Stuff Plus and persons with whom any of the aforementioned are domiciled are not eligible to win.

Prize Descriptions

Five (5) prizes will be awarded: each consisting of one (1) $100 Kitchen Stuff Plus Gift Card. Odds of winning the prize are dependent on total number of entries received. All Retail Values listed are in Canadian currency.

Draw Dates

Survey collection will take place on a quarterly basis as follows:
January - March
April - June
July - September
October - December

The draw will take place the first week of May, 2026. Selected winners will be contacted by email after the draw has taken place. The winner will be given instructions on how to claim his/her prize. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within one week of the draw date the prize will be forfeited, and another selected entrant will be drawn.

Substitution

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitution of prizes is permitted except by Kitchen Stuff Plus in its sole discretion. Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value, if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part. Use of prizes for promotion or resale is strictly forbidden.

Claiming A Prize
  1. The selected entrant will be advised by email of the details of how to claim his/her prize.
  2. In order to claim a prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:
    1. correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email.
    2. sign a declaration of release form stating that he/she has read, understood and complied with the rules and regulations of the contest; stating that he/she accepts the prize as awarded; and discharging and releasing Kitchen Stuff Plus from any and all claims for damages, losses or injuries resulting from this contest.

Failure to complete the declaration of release form will result in the prize being forfeited and another entrant will be drawn. If a selected entrant does not reply within seven (7) days from the date they were first contacted, or if they do not comply with the rules and regulations, the prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

General Rules
  1. Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to publish, without compensation, the name, city, province and photograph of prize winners. If an eligible winner does not comply Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to declare the contestant ineligible to win. Winner shall be responsible for declaring his/her prize to the appropriate revenue authority, if applicable, and shall comply with international conventions and laws. He/she assumes all responsibilities concerning the winnings.
  2. Kitchen Stuff Plus will be responsible for confirming the validity of entries received. All decisions by Kitchen Stuff Plus relating to this contest will be final.
  3. No correspondence will be undertaken, except with the selected entrant and winner who will be notified by email of the arrangements for receiving and redeeming his/her prize. Please allow 2-4 weeks for receipt of prize/prize instruction from receipt of signed declaration and release form.
  4. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations.
  5. Residents of the province of Quebec are not eligible to participate in the contest and are not eligible to be awarded a prize.
  6. Kitchen Stuff Plus, its advertising and promotion agencies, employees and persons whom they are domiciled are not responsible for:
    1. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contest Website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest;
    2. error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the contest website or any transmission in connection with the Contest;
    3. any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries;
    4. any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of email which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or
    5. any injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest.
  7. Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual from the Contest and to ban the individual from any future contest that it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or Contest Website, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by an entrant or any other person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  8. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Entities which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of this Contest, Kitchen Stuff Plus. reserves the right at its sole discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way.
  9. Kitchen Stuff Plus is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant requested to receive further communications. Please see our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

To enter, you must be a citizen or permanent legal resident of Canada who resides in Canada (with the exception of Quebec) and is at least 18 years of age. The contest is not valid in Quebec. The following are not eligible to enter to win: Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc., their affiliates and their employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, successors and agents, and their parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, retailers, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and any others engaged in the development, productions or distribution of promotional materials or prizes for this promotion (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and members of their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of Released Parties.

Contest Period

At the end of each contest period, we will draw 5 winners from the eligible submissions. Contest Period 1: January 1st to March 31st Contest Period 2: April 1st to June 30th Contest Period 3: July 1st to September 30th Contest Period 4: October 1st to December 31st

How To Enter

Submit a review through a product page, or through a post-purchase product review request form sent via e-mail. Reviews must be at least 25 words in length, must contain suitable language, must be in English, and must reflect your personal experience with the product you are reviewing. Any reviews submitted that do not meet the criteria outlined or area deemed inappropriate by Kitchen Stuff Plus will be ineligible.

Winner Selection

After each contest period, five (5) grand prize winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received within the given contest period. All winners will be selected within 14 days of the contest closing date. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Potential winners must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and reside in Canada (not valid Quebec).

Winner Notification

Potential winners will be notified by email at the email address provided in their submitted review within 14 days of the contest closing date. The winners will be given instructions on how to claim their prize. If a selected entrant does not respond within (7) business days from the draw date the prize will be forfeited and another selected entrant will be drawn.

Winner must also confirm eligibility. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of the prize, with Kitchen Stuff Plus having no further obligations to such potential winner. If the prize is returned as undeliverable, or winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and, at Kitchen Stuff Plus’ discretion, another potential winner selected by random.

In order to claim a prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:

Prizing

Five (5) $100 Kitchen Stuff Plus Gift Cards per contest period.

The approximate retail value for each prize is $100 Canadian dollars.

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion, or in the event a prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Prize is awarded “as is”. Any and all federal, provincial and local taxes on the prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winners.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for receipt of prize/prize instruction from receipt of signed declaration and release form.

Limitation Of Liability

By participating each entrant agrees and by accepting a prize each winner agrees (a) to abide by these Official Rules, which govern all communications regarding the Contest, and all rules and guidelines; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties, from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; (c) to the use of his/her name, answer (or portions of the Answer), image and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and Promotion purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so; (d) winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this Promotion or use or redemption of any prize; and (e) the Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any Confirmation and Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest. Decisions of Sponsor shall be final in all respects relating to this Contest.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved.

Law

These are the Contest Official Rules. The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Official Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Official Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

Language Discrepancy

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

Winner Selection

Prize winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received with correct answer. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and reside in Ontario, Canada.

Winner Notification

In order to win, the selected Prize winner must have followed the guidelines detailed in the in-feed Instagram post on the @kspstuff account and agreed to the contest terms and conditions. The Contest Organizer will attempt to contact the potential winner by the date mentioned in contesting period via Instagram Direct Message. Winner must provide the Contest Organizer their contact information, email address and residential address to fulfill delivery of Prize.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted by Instagram Direction Message, or he or she fails to respond within the specified time, he or she will forfeit the Prize, and an alternate winner may be selected, in the sole discretion of the Contest Organizer. Once an Eligible Participant is declared a winner by Contest Organizer, Contest Organizer will ship the Eligible Participant the Prize.

In order to claim a prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:

Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or sold, has no cash value, and will not be refunded if unused. No substitutions, changes or extensions are permitted. No substitutions except at Contest Organizer’s option. Contest Organizer reserves the right to substitute the Prize or Prize component for one of equal or greater retail value.

Declaration and Release of Winner of the Prize.

In order to win, the selected Prize winner must have followed the guidelines detailed in the in-feed Instagram post on the @kspstuff account and agreed to the contest terms and conditions. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Winner Selection

Winner Notification

The Contest Organizer will attempt to contact the selected entrant via Instagram Direct Message on or about the Draw Date.

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

Skill-Testing Question

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

Correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by email.
Sign and return a Declaration and Release confirming that:
they have read and complied with these Official Rules;
they accept the prize as awarded; and
they release Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize.

Failure to complete these requirements will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate entrant may be selected.

Prizing

Prize #1: One (1) $250 Kitchen Stuff Plus Gift Card awarded to the nominated teacher.

Prize #2: One (1) $100 Kitchen Stuff Plus Gift Card awarded to the entrant who nominated the winning teacher.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged or refunded. No substitutions will be permitted except at the sole discretion of the Contest Organizer, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

General

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Contest Organizer, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Limitation of Liability

Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, damaged, or technically corrupted entries, notifications, communications, or releases.

Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. is not responsible for any technical failures, including Internet outages, computer malfunctions, software errors, telecommunications failures, viruses, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other occurrence that may affect the administration or operation of the Contest.

The decisions of Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. regarding all aspects of the Contest are final.

Conduct

Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, engages in fraudulent activity, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Make a donation in support of Second Harvest at a Kitchen Stuff Plus store during August 10-September 13, 2026, to receive an entry in the giveaway. You will receive one entry code for each donation you make.


5. WINNER SELECTION

One (1) potential winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received from August 10, 2026, at 9:00am EST and ends on September 15, 2026, at 11:59pm EST. Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Potential winners must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and reside in Canada (not valid in Quebec).

 

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION

The winner will be notified via email by September 16, 2026. The winner will be given instructions on how to claim his/her prize. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven (7) business days from the draw date the prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn. Winner must also confirm eligibility. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of the prize, with Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. having no further obligations to such potential winner. If the prize is returned as undeliverable, or winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and at Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc.'s discretion, another potential winner selected by random. In order to claim a prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:

8. INDEMNIFICATION BY ENTRANT

By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds Releasees, Woobox LLC and Second Harvest Canada, harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of these Contest Official Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. Contest Official Rules

 

1.      ELIGIBILITY: The Kitchen Stuff Plus Spin to Win (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Kitchen Stuff Plus Inc. (hereafter “Kitchen Stuff Plus”). The Contest is open to all residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry. All employees of Kitchen Stuff Plus, its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the “Kitchen Stuff Plus Parties”), and any entity involved in the production, implementation, promotion, administration or fulfillment of the Contest are ineligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Entry in this Contest constitutes acceptance of these contest Official Rules (the “Official Rules”). Void where prohibited.

 

2.       HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. Open to legal residents of Ontario who are at least 18 years of age at the time of participation. Participants under 18 years of age must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to participate. The Spin to Win promotion will take place during three (3) separate promotion periods: August 15–16, 2026; August 22–23, 2026; and August 29–30, 2026, during participating store hours. Limit two (2) spins per person, per day, per promotion period. Each spin will result in a KSP discount coupon, subject to the terms and conditions stated on the coupon. Coupons are available while supplies last. No cash value. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or other consideration.

The eligible participant must spin the wheel which contains areas that determine whether or not he/she is eligible to win the corresponding prize indicated. Each section of the wheel contains a message that describe the prize available to be won, subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules.

All potential winners are subject to verification by Kitchen Stuff Plus, whose decisions are final and binding, without limitation, including the request to have the potential winner provide to Kitchen Stuff Plus a valid government issued identification.  A potential winner is not a winner of any prize, even if the contest should so indicate, unless and until potential winner's identity and eligibility have been verified including without limitation the potential winner providing the correct answer to a skill testing question. Kitchen Stuff Plus will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.

 

3.      AWARDING OF PRIZES: Once declared a winner, Kitchen Stuff Plus shall award the Prize to each of the declared winners immediately, at the participating Kitchen Stuff Plus store.

 

4.      PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Coupons are valid only during the contest periods (August 15-16, 2026; August 22-23, 2026; August 29-30, 2026), when redeemed at a participating Kitchen Stuff Plus retail location during the Contest Period. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for cash. In the event for any reason a Prize is unavailable, Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value.

In the event that more than the advertised number or type of Prizes (as advertised in these Official Rules) are declared due to a printing, technical, or production error, Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to award only the stated number of Prizes.

6.      CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By participating in this Contest, the potential winner agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Kitchen Stuff Plus, whose decisions shall be final and binding. Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification; (ii) that all submitted Coupons become the property of Kitchen Stuff Plus; (iii) to the unrestricted use of his/her name and/or likeness, address, city, picture, portrait, voice, and ideas by Kitchen Stuff Plus, in their discretion, or its agents, for advertising and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, other than the value of the Prize offered; (iv) that, by participating in this Contest, and/or receipt of any Prize, the potential winner agrees to release and hold harmless Kitchen Stuff Plus, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, or infringement of any third party intellectual property rights, arising out of participation in the Contest, or receipt, use or misuse of any Prize, or use of the personal information by Kitchen Stuff Plus. Winners must sign declaration and release, and such other supporting documentation that Kitchen Stuff Plus may request, to give effect to such release.

 

7.      GENERAL CONDITIONS: Kitchen Stuff Plus also reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, for any reason, including without limitation, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Kitchen Stuff Plus’ reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Kitchen Stuff Plus in their sole discretion. Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the Contest process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other Contest or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Kitchen Stuff Plus' failure to enforce any term of these Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

 

8.      LIMITS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (iv) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. Kitchen Stuff Plus is not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable entries or for any technical problems, malfunctions of computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Kitchen Stuff Plus is not responsible for any typographical/other error in entries, selection announcement or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with this Contest. If for any reason a submission is confirmed to have been erroneously lost or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest. No more than the stated number of Prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of Prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Kitchen Stuff Plus reserves the right to award only the stated number of Prizes.

 

9.      GOVERNING LAW: These are the Spin to Win contest Official Rules. The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Official Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over Kitchen Stuff Plus. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Official Rules or the rights and obligations as between the potential winner and Kitchen Stuff Plus in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.
